Education
I started my studies into digital art by teaching myself through instructional guides and books at the age of fifteen. I began with learning the essential skills with graphic design, adobe flash animation and video editing. Over the following years I taught myself the basics to the Adobe software suite and 3D Studio Max, all before starting college.
At age 18 I was awarded my A Levels in Graphic Design after two years at Oldham Sixth Form College in Greater Manchester. Three years later I earned my Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honors in Animation at the University of Huddersfield, England.
Experience
Web Design
I have been developing websites using WordPress for over 10 years. I have a keen eye for current design trends with extensive knowledge of user interface and creative principles. I enjoy tying together my skill-set as a graphic designer and animator into my web design to create and deliver functional yet visually impressive websites. I have solid knowledge of dynamic web technologies, including: HTML5, CSS3 and PHP. I also keep up-to-date with my knowledge of functional compatibility with desktop web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Edge), Mac OS X (Safari), and mobile browsers on smartphones and tablets (Android, iOS).
Graphic Design
I design clear and understandable visuals with a focus on a function with color. Over the past 10 years I have developed a series of books, brochures, flyers, posters, logos and custom typographical pieces for a wide range of clients around the world. Throughout my career I have become fluent with the entire Adobe Cloud software suite.
Animation
My interest has grown into learning different aspects of 3D Design and animation, from scenery and foliage to character and vehicle design. I believe variety is the key to developing rounded and expansive creative capabilities. I enjoy my work and my creative passion is fueled by my desire for finding the best balance between functional and beautiful designs.
